Since Lisa began study in the field of Community Development at UC Davis in 2003, she has been passionate about applying her strong corporate finance background to the cause of community development.
In 2004, Lisa and a small group of colleagues formed Alchemist CDC in Sacramento, California to be a catalyst for community change. In 2022, Alchemist began its first real estate project and earned over $1M in revenue for the first time in its history.
In 2022, Ruthie Love joined Focus & Flow as our VP of Flowgistics to support the development of the platform. In 2024, we formed Flowgistics, LLC as a joint venture to recognize her leadership and effort, with Ruthie as CEO. She now leads internal operations and ensures the successful deployment and ongoing development of the platform. She has an extensive background in operations and project management, and a passion for healthy communities.
